Six alumni from the second batch of Pre-Primary and Primary Teachers’ Training Course (PPTC) graduated at Frobel Training Academy. In collaboration with Sunderji Teachers’ Training Institute, Pune, India, the one-year course was launched in 2017. Sunderji Teachers’ Training Institute is a renowned organization that has been training teachers for the past two decades, and with their support, Frobel Training Academy was able to deliver the course and produce highly trained and motivated teachers. All the alumni are equipped to implement better classroom management strategies, know how to identify children with various learning needs in classrooms, and are able to support any school management with their ideas and delivery of lessons in an interactive manner. The Pre-Primary and Primary Teachers’ Training Course (PPTC) focuses on theories of child development, principles of education, special needs of students, as well as provides rich experiences in co-curricular activities, cultural celebrations, participation in annual musical programs, sports day, etc. to name a few. It equips the teachers to ably handle all kinds of needs of learners as well as direct peer interactions. Each alumni did an academic and extra-curricular internship in Frobel Academy and Frobel Play School premises and gathered valuable practical experiences. The third batch of PPTC has been enrolled in the online version of the course and will graduate in 2021. Frobel Academy is a renowned English medium school that caters to children from the aged 6 onwards. The directors of Frobel Academy, Mrs. Huwra Zohair, Mrs. Sabeen Aameir, Chief Guest Ms. Zubeda Mahmood, Ms. Nisrin Nagaria and trainers of the course, attended the event, keeping social and physical distancing in mind and ensuring safety for all among the pandemic.
